A SharePoint administrator can set up a SecureAuth bi-lateral authentication utilizing the “Authentication Provider” facility in the SharePoint Central Administration console, under the Application Management section.

SecureAuth is designed to integrate into the native windows application environment, front-ended by SharePoint , and then authenticate to the native enterprise Active Directory or MS/SQL datastore. The SecureAuth authentication server component can reside on the SharePoint hosted server, or on a separate Windows Server.

Using a combination of a web server module and web services, SecureAuth provides a turnkey solution to deliver an algorithmically proven method to thwart man-in-the-middle and phishing attacks. The SecureAuth solution features out-of-band self-registration and automatically delivers credentials seamlessly to end users.
