Step 1:  Install SecureAuth® Web Module

Existing in a self-contained environment, the SecureAuth web module securely authenticates users without additional programming efforts/costs. SecureAuth enacts:
           • Inspection of valid X.509 user credential
           • Creation of new X.509 credentials
           • Elimination of expired credentials

Simple SecureAuth Installation

The SecureAuth web module is installed with an easy “click-thru” MSI install component.  The MSI can be installed on the same IIS server as the existing application (figure 1), or on a separate server (figure 2). In either installation, the SecureAuth module is installed in its own Microsoft virtual directory, and is configured with its own Web.Config.

The SecureAuth authentication module is a well-behaved .NET application that is fully configurable for not only the SecureAuth parameters, but standard .NET parameters, including:

• Data Connection
• Post-authentication Destination
• Session encryption and strength

Estimated Deployment Time:
          1-2 hours by Web Admin

Benefits:
           • Simple “click-thru” MSI install
           • No special crypto experience is needed
           • No modification of “target application”
