Step 2:  Connect SecureAuth® to the Enterprise Datastore

One of the key advantages of the SecureAuth solution is its ability to connect to an enterprise's native datastore. This means no data synching for the enterprise, thus eliminating “ghost accounts” and other security pitfalls inherent to other authentication solutions.

Data Integration in hours, not Days

The SecureAuth solution utilizes .NET classes to connect to the existing datastore. SecureAuth can take advantage of the largest set of data connectors in the world: The .NET library of membership and profile classes. (See figure 1).

The .NET datastore connectors include:

          Active Directory

Oracle

          MS/SQL

MySQL

          ADAM

DB2

          LDAP

Others

It is simply a matter of utilizing the .NET libraries to connect the SecureAuth authentication application to you existing datastore.

Estimated Deployment Time:
2-4 hours to Microsoft AD or MS/SQL by ASP.NET data programmer

Benefit:
        • No data synching
        • No data migration
        • No custom data APIs to maniupulate
