SecureAuth’s authentication product makes Google Apps an extremely secure extension of your enterprise IT environment. By using your existing user data store to validate user credentials, SecureAuth avoids replication of sensitive user data outside the enterprise while maintaining control inside. An enterprise is able to take full advantage of the benefits of Google Apps hosted model while keeping the control and security benefits of having the applications “in-house”.
No solution can claim to be more secure. SecureAuth leverages Google Apps Enterprise’ support of the SAML 2.0 standard and the certificate security store built into your web browser. A proprietary x.509 certificate delivery engine ensures bi-lateral authentication, preventing the possibility of a man-in-the-middle attack and rendering phishers completely impotent. The all software solution is based on web standards making it scalable, easy to deploy and very affordable.
SecureAuth is, of course, very user friendly because most of the time it is completely transparent to the end user. Certificates stored in the browser are automatically read and checked against the enterprise user database. There is no need for them to carry extra hardware while retaining the ability to logon from multiple machines.
